I was trading from 08.00 pm EST to 08:00 am. It's very stressful, tiring, especially on chopped market. I tend to overtrade again with par result.
Trading should be less time consuming. 12 Hours trading not resulting big profit.
Should backtested at peak time only. 7.00 am EST and 2.00 am EST
DT,
ReplyDeleteWhen you trade 6s, don't let go the CL. Check yesterday CLZ0
I was crushed down by CL recently. U're right I missed the ride. Hoping for tomorrow's movement :)
ReplyDeleteHi De'Trader,
ReplyDeleteThis is what Austin said in one of his videos: every instrument will have its day (he was referring to gold which made a beautiful 10 to 15 point move when he was asleep :-)). It pays to stick with 1 or 2 or max of 3 symbols so you can become really familiar with them - many of the instruments you've traded have more than 3 good days a week - but you have to choose a max of 3 and stick with them. I'm talking about trading futures. Stocks is a different story of course.
Also helps to stick to trading just one method for now. Wedge is not bad. CL has it quite frequently.
I know why you are afraid of losses. Your first teacher told you repeatedly that "you will lose money". Forget him.
Tq Jules :) make my day
ReplyDeleteI have trouble with overtrade. I have no problem stopped out dozens of time if I have net green for the day. I used to trade CL like that and have good result.
If u have tips for avoiding overtrade tell me. I am dying with this demon..
About my teacher, all I used from him is forexfactory.com, anything else just blew with the wind. :)
