The Hard Truth

The Hard Truth is I cannot maintain my mental state consistently. Should be a profit day with my methods, it's become drawdown day.

Trading should be survival on bad market, profiting on good market. Monday was good market, and I blew it.

I'll stop posting for indefinite time. It's not like I don't want to trade because of bad days. It's because maybe stopped blogging for a while may clarity my mind and I become consistent again.

you mention the word 'consistent' which is the key word in this business. I look at your blog list and you have Bankrobber, Deucalion, and maybe Solfest of tradingcrude.blogspot.com sometimes. Their methods are different but there is one thing that they all have in common. Their charts and setup are identical day after day. If they didn't dated their chart you may say they make a mistake of posting their old charts. Find you consistent setup and you will see a consistent performance.

  2. Tq cory for the advice,
Let's say I actually basically used the same methods. But my methods sometimes horribly unconsistent that I wanted to scream. Like NQ trade, the methods are the same, execution if I wanted or not is discretion. Those discretion is misleading. So I used old method, sometimes I trade aggresively on every signal appeared. sometimes I won't. And mostly I aggresive on chopped market, and missed the trending market.

  3. experiment with diff type of charts until you can settle and stick with the type that shows you the same setup day in/day out. For me it's 5m chart for other it's 6 range chart or 1000 volume chart or 777 tick chart. It sounds simple but it's really a very long and frustration process, keep trying.

  4. before I forget, you know you find you chart type and setup when you are no longer interest in other's chart types or their indicators.

  7. didn't know he did that we don't really have any policy on what contract should be trade in room. if you make money on ZS great, somebody may want to start to follow it. That is how room get to trade 6E, there was nobody trade 6E before until some guy with 6E skill shows up. I certainly don't care who is trading what.
